About AI Trading Journal
A small Windows app that keeps your MetaTrader 5 trading journal up to date for you, built by one developer.
Who builds it
AI Trading Journal is built and maintained by Wajid Farooq, an independent developer. It started as a tool for journaling my own MetaTrader 5 accounts into Notion automatically, and I run it on my own accounts today. It is sold as a one-time purchase, so there is no subscription to keep it alive.
What I care about
- Read-only. The app reads your closed trades. It never places, modifies or closes a trade.
- Your data stays yours. Trades go from your own MT5 terminal straight to your own Notion workspace. They do not pass through my servers. Details are on the privacy page.
- Honest trade-offs. It needs Windows and MetaTrader 5, syncs every 5 minutes, and a license covers one device at a time. These limits are written on the site before you buy, and the 7-day free trial lets you test it on your own account first.
- No trading advice. The app and the guides here are about record keeping. They are not signals or investment advice.
What it is not
AI Trading Journal is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by MetaQuotes (MetaTrader) or Notion Labs.
