Contact AI Trading Journal

Questions, bug reports, license help or a correction? Here is how to reach the developer and what to include so we can help quickly.

The quickest way to reach us is email. AI Trading Journal is made by one independent developer, Wajid Farooq, and messages go straight to the developer, not to a call centre.

Email support

Write to [email protected]. It is the same address as the Support link in the site menu. For a problem with the app, it helps to include:

Never send passwords or secrets. We will never ask for your MT5 password, your investor password, your broker login or your Notion token. If you paste a screenshot, check that no key or token is visible in it.

Buying, the free trial and your license

Purchases and trial downloads are handled by Gumroad. For a receipt, a license key or an order question, use the contact option on the product page, or reply to your Gumroad receipt. If your trial or license will not activate, email us the license key shown on your receipt and the message the app displays. Prices and terms are on the buy page.

The dashboard shows the wrong day, or today's trades are missing

Versions before 1.1.2 could store a wrong broker-clock value if the very first sync for an account ran at the weekend, when the markets are closed and the newest prices are stale. The app then believed it was a different day and skipped the newest trades until the value was corrected. Version 1.1.2 stops measuring the clock while the markets are closed, ignores impossible values and corrects a stuck one by itself. To fix it right now on an older version:

Your journal itself is not touched by this: it stays in your Documents folder. If you installed from the Microsoft Store, simply update to version 1.1.2 when the Store offers it; it corrects the value by itself.

The Microsoft Store version

If you installed from the Store, you can also leave a rating or report a problem on the Microsoft Store listing. Details are in the Store guide.
